Promotion and development of ecological agriculture and eco-agro tourism in

The project
is in line with the CEI Plan of Action 2007-2009 (Sustainable Agriculture,
Environment) as well as with the KEP priority areas (Development
of agriculture and rural areas: farms development, promotion of rural and
environmentally sensitive tourism; Environment: protection of the natural
environment).
The aim of
the project consists in the transfer of best practices and transfer of
experiences in agriculture, ecological agriculture, organic farming and
eco-agro tourism.
To achieve this goal, we proposed the following activities:
a) Study trip of a Serbian delegation in

Conference about ecological agriculture (Pictures / Presentations)
c)
Business to business meeting between Serbian and Romanian
representatives in this field
d)
Study visit at farm and agrotouristical pension (winetourism)
e) Common cross boarder database
Results of the project:
Direct results:
- Participation of Serbian delegation at the Ecomediu fair – Eco Hall: 11 Serbian has participated between 25-27 November 2009 at the fair (list of participant and photographical materials in attachment)
- Thematically conference: at 25. November 2009 was organized the Ecological Agriculture Conference, followed by a workshop
- B2B meeting: at 26 November 2009 was organized the meeting, with the participation of 17 Romanian participant from different type of institution, who wanted to start cooperation with Serbian partners. The mayor of Zrenjanin, as well as the vice-mayor of Arad attended this meeting.
- study visits: the Serbian delegation has visited a cattle breeding farm and an agrotouristical pension (wine tourism)
- Cross boarder database: contains Serbian and Romanian companies, institution from the field of agriculture
Results with immediate and mid-term effects
- assimilate information regarding the topics presented at the conference: the Serbian delegation has participated at the seminars and at the workshop very actively
- Serbian and Romanian partnerships established and developed: at the B2B meeting, Romanian and Serbian partners have met and have established contact. CCIA Arad and REC Zrenjanin will follow the development of the established partnerships.
